BUCKROE FISHING PIER
The 706-foot pier is located at 330 S. Resort Boulevard, near Point Comfort Road.The new pier, supported by concrete pilings with wooden decks and railings, is 16 feet wide and is equipped with rest rooms, a snack bar and bait shop.The "T" section at the end of the pier is 70 feet wide and 26 feet long.The pier has lights that face into the water, to attract fish.It has been designed for handicapped accessibility.For the convenience of fishermen, there are two fish-cleaning stations.In times of heat or sudden rain squalls, there are shelters on the pier to provide protection
JAMES RIVER BRIDGE PIER
At just under a mile long, the James river bridge pier is one of the longest fishing piers on the east cost. From croaker to black drum, and blue crab to catfish the James river pier as been deemed a very good option for are local residents. Equipped with a bait shop and restaurant.
OCEANVIEW FISHING PIER
The Ocean View Fishing Pier offers complete facilities and equipment for everyone who lives - and loves - to fish. Just off Interstate 64 in Norfolk, Virginia, the Pier stretches out 1690 feet into the Bay into one of East Coast's most bountiful fishing grounds.Located on site are a Bait House, a restaurant, a game room and restrooms. It is also equipped for catered parties, receptions and banquets for groups up to 500 people.
VIRGINIA BEACH FISHING PIER
Virginia Beach oceanfront Fishing Pier is the only pier accessible from the boardwalk. Commonly caught species are; croakers, pompano, kingfish, pigfish, trout, bluefish, red drum, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, rays and other fish. This pier is equipped with a gift shop, a seafood restaurant and a bait shop that allows you to rent rod and reels. No fishing license required.
LITTLE ISLAND FISHING PIER
Occasionally referred to as (sandbridge fishing pier), Little island fishing pier is definitely a locals favorite. Located about 15 miles away from the oceanfront, little island is known as a very affordable place to catch a wide variety of fish. Species that are commonly caught from the pier include Spot, Croaker, Red and Black Drum, Cobia, Spanish and King Mackerel, Pompano, Flounder, shark, sting ray and more. No fishing license required. There is no a bait shop located on this pier, but there is one within walking distance.
SEAGULL FISHING PIER
The 625-foot, wheelchair accessible fishing pier at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel extends into the Chesapeake Bay and allows fishermen to experience deep-sea fishing, 3.5 miles from the Virginia Beach shoreline. Cleaning stations, as well as a certified weighing station are available. A one-way toll of $12 per car is collected to access the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel; there is no additional fee for unlimited use of the fishing pier. A fishing license is not required
LYNNHAVEN FISHING PIER
Offering recreational sport fishing from a 20-foot wide pier extending 1500 feet into the Chesapeake Bay, the Pier is open seasonally beginning in mid-May.THE PIER IS TOTALLY RENOVATED WITH A NEW "T" ON THE END. PIER, TACKLE SHOP & RESTROOMS OPEN 24 HOURS during our Operating Season
